Digital Re-Creation of April Greiman's Artwork

For our first project in intro to Graphic Design and Illustration we had to research and recreate the artwork of a famous graphic designer. I chose April Greiman, mainly because she was one of the first people to design on the computer and really opened a lot of designers' eyes to the vast potential of the digital world.

My artwork is based off of her line of business cards and cards for the company Vertigo. Instead of using the name Vertigo I used Greiman's name and surrounded it with geometric shapes and characteristics about her.

My First Portrait Photography Assignment

This semester I am taking Portrait Photography with Professor Hurst. 

For our first assignment we had to take an outdoor portrait. 

I took pictures of a fellow classmate Amber Closterman. 

The shoot was a blast and we got a lot of great pictures out of it. 

This is one of my favorites.
